Simon is a writer, actor and broadcaster currently based in West London.
He graduated from the University of Manchester with an MA in English Literature and from the University of London (Institute of Education) with a PGCE.
He has worked professionally as a bookseller, teacher, and actor.
For many years, Simon taught English for Academic Purposes at the London School of Economics (LSE).
He now writes full-time.

Simon will be appearing as Claudius in Hamlet at the Minack Theatre, Cornwall 18 – 21 August. This Winchester Players production is directed by Simon Taylor.
Picture This received an honorary mention in the prestigious Fish Flash Fiction Prize. Simon’s story will be published in the Fish Anthology 2025. The launch will be on 16th July at the West Cork Literary Festival.
